Five aspects of a journalist
-A news-clipping of past work that give some indication that you are capable of doing your job
-Someone that is technically sound in writing and has the ability to work independently. Someone self-motivated
-Good people skills are a must, as it is the people who create news
-There isn’t a set work schedule, so you must be flexible, when news comes you have to inform the public.
-Must be able to meet strict deadlines and in doing so must be able to work under stress.
